Objective: Equipping you to be an effective volunteer in boat handling and water surface rescue.


Description: Malaysia faced floods annually, in year 2014 East Coast Floods, flood waters cut off relief supplies, rescuers, leaving them vulnerable, cold, wet and hungry. In IDRN1300 we mentioned about water surface rescue, but now we come to the real practice.

Length: 1 Day

Type: Outdoor

Langauge: English / Chinese

Venue: Laguna Park, Pulau Indah, Port Klang, Selangor

Prerequisites: IDRN 1100 / IDRN 1300 / CREST Basic Disaster Response

Minimum & Maximum Participants: 10 - 15 persons

Training Fees: RM 150 per person

3. Boat Handling 
4. Search & Rescue Operation

Training Venue Requirements:
- Individual is required fully equiped with Go-bag
- Sun block and Sunglasses
- Personal medicines

Participant who has completed this course will be awarded a certificate from Crisis Relief Services & Training (CREST) and International Disaster Respose Network (IDRN).
