Background

After the first arrival of our shipment in Shanghai on 25 February 2020, we began to plan for the next phase of our response. Based on the accounts, we have received a total of RM561,363.75 as at 29^th February. We thank God for the Chinese Methodist churches in Sarawak for contributing RM328,000 and a church in Setia Alam for donating RM150,000.

CREST was invited to participate in printing awareness and prevention of Covid-19 vinyl posters for the churches and Associations under Karen Baptism Convention (KBC). Currently, the churches are not open for worship due to the pandemic.

According to the government advisories, all churches need to be prepared towards awareness, practicing social distancing and conducting all activities relating to Covid-19 prevention.
