In year 2017, CREST responded to floods in Penang and Sri Lanka. Besides that, we also made follow up trips to Myanmar, Philippines and Japan. We rejoice and give thanks to God to see these communities recover and restored from the devastation of the disasters. I shared with someone about CREST’s post Cyclone Nargis work in Myanmar and he asked me how long will CREST continue help them. My answer was, as long as you are here to help CREST.
CREST is entering its 20th year in serving the poor and needy in crisis. We are looking for people with skillsets to assist us in the anniversary fund raising event. Every 5 years, we celebrate our anniversary as thanksgiving as well as to promote awareness of our ministry and to raise funds for operational expenses for the next 5 years. Our operational expenses for year 2018 is projected at RM205,000 and we hope the body of Christ and individuals will continue to support us from your mission pledge.
