Activity 1. Taman Senangin, Perai, Penang. (GPS: N5°23.048’ E° 100 23.096’) 1. Acquire final total number of households and addresses within Taman Senangin by going from house to house to visually confirm or by asking local residents. Many houses in both Taman Senangin and Kampung Mainroad do not have attached numbers on their lots. After inquiring we found that certain houses had also changed the front door numbers due to personal beliefs. Ground team had also approached the MP of Perai for the official addresses for cross reference. These official addresses are crucial for the actual distribution day where they will be cross checked with serial numbers issued to each notice letter, residents MyKad or their water/electricity bill and our internal system to ensure no duplicated recipients or claims.

2. Delivery of notice letters to each house within the designated area and to ensure that these letters get into the hands of the local residents. Our thanks go to local resident and partner, Mr. David Danabal (Tamil Methodist Church, Prai) and headmistress of Chung Hwa 3, Mdm. Ng Meng Yau for their assistance in securing a covered basketball court and a classroom for use on distribution day.

Conclusion Statistics from the assessment at Taman Senangin shows that 40 families chose preference for furniture, 21 for electrical appliances, 0 for School Kits, 2 with no preference.
